Hoffmann Neopac has received a binding purchase offer for its metal division and is examining the sale of the business unit to a private, internationally established company with a strong focus on metal packaging. The new owner would take over the production site in Dronten (Netherlands) with all employees and continue existing customer contracts. Operations at the Thun site would be closed, which would affect 75 employees.
Consultation procedure initiated
The possible sale is currently the subject of a three-week consultation process, which began today. During this time, the Staff Committee has the opportunity to propose alternatives to the sale and/or the closure of production at the Thun site in order to mitigate the impact on the employees affected.
